Marque Systems
Maryland
Technology company

Research is cheap. Getting it to survive contact with production is the work.

Marque Systems builds software and instrumentation for environments where being approximately right is the same as being wrong — regulated industries, public infrastructure, and the long tail of operations that never made it onto a modern stack.

What we do

We take methods that already work in a lab or a paper and rebuild them as systems an operator can run on a Tuesday without a researcher standing next to them.

That rebuild is the whole job. It means instrumenting the thing so its failures are visible, narrowing it until its claims are defensible, and shipping it into an environment with real constraints — procurement cycles, audit trails, people who did not choose the tool and cannot be retrained.

How we work

01

Narrow before broad

We would rather solve one problem completely than six partially. Scope is the first deliverable and it usually gets smaller after the first week.

02

Instrumented from day one

A system that cannot tell you when it is wrong is not finished. Measurement is built in at the start, not bolted on for the demo.

03

Built to be handed over

Documentation, runbooks and a maintenance path are part of the build. Work that only its authors can operate has not been delivered.

Where we focus

  • Regulated and public-sector operations — Environments where the audit trail matters as much as the output, and where a wrong answer has a paper consequence.
  • Instrumentation and measurement — Making physical and operational processes legible: capture, validation, and the plumbing that gets data somewhere useful.
  • Systems integration — Connecting modern tooling to the systems of record that organisations actually run on and cannot replace.
  • Commercialisation of applied research — Taking a result that works under controlled conditions and finding out, honestly, whether it works outside them.

Status

Marque Systems is being organised as a Maryland company. It is not yet transacting business, and this site makes no claim to existing customers, contracts, certifications or revenue.
